Coil Transfer Car is a kinds of material handling equipment designed for coils cargoes transport. It can widely applied in steel coil, aluminum coil, wire coil, galvanised coil, copper plated round steel,etc transport in the factory, warehouse or other working site.

How to choose coil transfer cars?

First, we should to know the structures of the coil transfer cars. The coil transfer car usually equiped with the V, E frame, V-groove deck, V support bracket to prevent coils material fall down from the car in transportation.

The V,E frame and V support bracket can be divided into two kinds: removable and non removable, and the size of the frame and support bracket are customized according as the coils size. The coil transfer cars with removable v frame can remove the v frame when need to transport other material.

Then, we need to know the size of the coils material we need to transport. The transfer car can carry one or more coils each time (it can customized as per demands). The capacity load and the transfer platform are customized according the size of coil material.

Finally, we need to know the power supply mode of the transfer car. The coil transfer car have two kinds run mode: running on the rails (it requires track laying on the ground) and running on the ground(it can without rails).

The rail type coil transfer car can be powered battery, cable reel, busbar, mobile cable, conductor rail, diesel or without power system(towed by other tools, such as electric winch, electric transfer cart, tractor, etc.)

The steerable coil transfer car can be powered by battery, cable reel, or without power system.
